Solution

  • The recipient is ratelimiting the amount of messages that Mail Assure's sending IP addresses can send in a given amount of time.
  • Recipient needs to allow Mail Assure's sending IP addresses to deliver to them without ratelimiting rule.
    • For messages sent inbound to a filtered domain in Mail Assure, allow this for Mail Assure's inbound sending IPs
    • For messages sent outbound through Mail Assure to an external domain, allow this for Mail Assure's outbound sending IPs
